IN-BETWEEN FLOW Vinyl out now
Today is the release day of In-Between Flow as vinyl. I‘m very happy and proud of this product. Thanks to everyone who was involved and made this happen. For this special day we saved the studio video of No Claim Claim for you. It‘s a song about surfing and it features the one and only Kurt Rosenwinkel.
Music video for Flawless Sunday out now
In two weeks we will release the vinyl for In-Between Flow. The first video for this release tells a story about a free day without commitment and a lot of me time. It’s a day of reflection, thinking, planning and charging your inner battery.
HI Five Jazz Music Award 2023
I’m very happy and thankful that Maik Krahl Quartet has been selected for this years HI Five Jazz Music Award. The award winner concert will take place on 28th of May at Theater für Niedersachsen in Hildesheim.

Happy New Year
2022 started with a half canceled tour due to the pandemic. Thankfully two concerts were left that helped us prepare for the recording session of our new album In-Between Flow at Riverside Studios Cologne mid January. During the year we released three singles, five music videos and finally the full album at Challenge Records International. We played 27 concerts all over Germany and travelled 12011 km. Looking back at 2022 it was a very tough year. Therefore I‘m even more thankful for what we accomplished! Thanks to everyone involved.

My third album is out now. A huge thanks to everyone who was involved and made this project happen. I couldn‘t be happier with the result. I’m also very excited to share the music video of Drizzle Counter with you.

Ms Ludgate is inspired by my current favorite TV series Parks and Recreation. April Ludgate played by the amazing Aubrey Plaza is an introvert, a desinterested person and hates everything and everyone. During the seasons she evolves to an open minded, caring and funny human being. Check out Ms Ludgate on your favorite streaming platform.
Cologne 4 AM out now
The second single of IN-BETWEEN FLOW is out now.
Two years ago we produced a music video for a song on my last album at Südbrücke Cologne during sunrise. I decided to stay awake and spend the time shedding and composing in my practice room. The song that was born during this night is released today. Cologne 4 AM is available on all streaming platforms.
Slosetta out now
The first single Slosetta of my upcoming album IN-BETWEEN FLOW is out now.
One year ago I took part in a latte art contest. I was the only participant who did not work in a café as a barista. With more than 500 virtual viewers on YouTube the situation was quite stressful for me. But I won the first round with my tulip. The task for the second round was to create a slosetta with oat milk. Mission failed. So I had to write a song for the slosetta. You can listen to this first single of IN-BETWEEN FLOW on all streaming platforms.

I’m so happy to announce that my new album In-Between Flow feat. Kurt Rosenwinkel will be released on September 9th, 2022. I can’t wait to share the new music with you.
FRACTION on the road again
These will be the last concerts before the summer break and before we say good bye to FRACTION. In September we will release a new album featuring Kurt Rosenwinkel. Can‘t wait to share the new music with you. Until then I hope to see you at one of our concerts.

2019 was an exciting year. We presented DECIDOPHOBIA at many concerts and festivals all over Germany. Our new album feat. Seamus Blake was recorded during summer at Hansahaus Studio Bonn. Burghausen concert on BR-Klassik
In March my quartet was part of the International Jazz Week in Burghausen. On June 28th the concert will be broadcasted on BR-Klassik. In addition to a full hour of music I will talk about my quartet and DECIDOPHOBIA.
